Another happy ASLS client
Ray worked at a large mine site in Blackwater. Recently due to the mining industry downturn, Ray was made redundant. He started work with this site after leaving his role as a teacher with QLD Education. Ray’s job role on the mine site for the last 3 years as a fly in fly out worker was operating Haul Trucks, and training and assessing other workers in Haul Truck Operations.
Ray had completed his Enterprise Trainer and Assessor skills set with us whilst employed by the mine operator, when he became redundant didn’t hesitate to come back to ASLS to complete the full TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
This week Ray completed the “Part 2” of our Certificate IV in Training and Assessment class and completed the remaining units of competency and attained the full TAE40110 qualification.
Ray has now re-registered to go back to teaching, and has applied for jobs teaching manual arts. He needs the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to train Certificate II in Furnishing, and was really happy to complete this in just 4 days of face to face training with ASLS.
