A WHS Training and Development Story
Jodi Matthews recently completed the BSB51312 Diploma of Work Health & Safety with ASLS.
In 2007 Jodi completed the Functioning as a Work Health & Safety Officer (WHSO) course whilst working as an Office Manager in the construction industry. After this, she took some time off to start a family before returning to a new role within a business that has a strong focus on safety.
Jodi is now the Executive Assistant to the Regional Director to a global engineering corporation. As this business is OSHS 18001,ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 certified, it is important that the office has an experienced and well qualified safety professional. Jodi completed the BSB41412 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety with ASLS earlier this year, and after completing the BSB51312 Diploma of Work Health & Safety with ASLS recently had this to say about the course:
“The trainer’s knowledge and delivery of the content was outstanding, the class environment and mix
of candidates from different industries made for healthy discussion and provided me with great networking opportunities. It was also great to complete this nationally recognised qualification within the five days as I did not have to take too long off work”
Jodi says the training she received has definitely assisted her in her job. When asked if she would recommend ASLS she replied “definitely!”
Thanks Jodi for letting ASLS tell your story.
ASLS recognises that the cornerstone to any successful business is a workforce of well trained workers. This is why large corporations continue to send their workers to ASLS as they are confident ASLS will provide the best training outcomes.
