TAA40104 Certificate IV In Training and Assessment (Full Course)This course is for people who are required to deliver training and assessment programs in a workplace. The qualification is also a requirement for people who may wish to deliver and assess on behalf of a Registered Training Organisation. Students who complete the 14 unit course will be able to plan and deliver training in an area of existing expertise and to plan and conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts. TAA40104 Upgrade CourseThis 8 unit course is for people who already possess the superseded BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and who wish to upgrade to the new TAA40104 qualification. The superseded qualification is still a valid qualification, however those who wish to teach the TAA40104 course must upgrade, and experienced trainers and assessors in all other vocational areas are encouraged to upgrade as a professional development initiative. For people who have the BSZ40198 qualification, 6 units of competency in the qualification are deemed to be equivalent to units of competency in TAA40104. Evidence of having completed the BSZ40198 competencies will be used to provide a direct credit towards TAA40104 for the 6 equivalent units, leaving 8 units to complete via the upgrade course to receive the new qualification. Upon completion, a certificate is issued for the full TAA40104 qualification. TAA40104 Partial Completion – Individual Units Of CompetencyASLS can offer any combination of units from the TAA40104 course. People are able to complete individual units of competency that reflect their area of interest or work requirements. For example, people who wish to be assessors may choose to complete the 4 units of competency only that relate solely to assessment skills and knowledge. Similarly, people who wish to be on the job instructors may choose to complete a single unit of competency relating to training delivery via instruction and demonstration of work skills. There are many combinations that are relevant to a range of vocational requirements. A Statement of Attainment is issued showing each completed unit of competency.
